MISSION STATEMENT

HYA Riptide Lacrosse is dedicated to providing programs and services that inspire participation while honoring the game. Riptide Lacrosse is committed to the view that to play the game is great, to win the game is greater, to love the game is the greatest. We are about promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, positive coaching, and having fun, as well as advancing skills and the sport of lacrosse. We want each and every participant to feel like they have made a contribution to themselves as well as to their respective team both on and off the field.

Riptide Lacrosse is a total volunteer organization.  The program is run by a Board of Directors and a volunteer coaching staff along with the assistance of the parents of all players. We are dedicated to the instruction of the game of lacrosse, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play. Riptide Lacrosse is open to all students who reside within the boundaries of the SAU-21 school district

HAMPTON/HYA LACROSSE PROGRAMS

Lacrosse in the Hampton area begins as young as kindergarten in our K2Plus introductory lacrosse clinics and progresses up to the 14U level for both boys and girls.

We are dedicated to starting young lacrosse players off in a fun and age-appropriate lacrosse program called Riptide K2Plus Lacrosse. Players in the K2Plus program play once a week in a practice-based, high energy program designed to fit the needs of our youngest players.

First-fourth graders also have the choice to play travel lacrosse. 8U and 10U teams play in the Seacoast Area Youth Lacrosse League (SAYLL). This league offers a local travel schedule, and teams play smaller sided games (7v7) to further develop skills.

Players then progress to 12U and 14U travel programs participating in the NH Youth Lacrosse Association (
NHYLA) League. NHYLA is a competitive lacrosse league that requires more regional travel and tournament commitments.
