Hello everyone,
The girls have been playing hard and gaining momentum each week – thanks for the positive attitudes and teamwork all around. Below are weekend details and info about getting outside next week – let us know of any questions, and happy weekends! - The U14 Coaches
This weekend
Our last indoor practice is Saturday given that Sunday is Easter – we are on Seacoast United field B (& C) at 2:20-3:20.
I’m attaching a 20% DICKS coupon for THIS weekend thru Mon, for any last-minute needs, string, mouthguards, equipment..
Next week outdoors/games
Field/practice updates –
For the month of April, we will use Seabrook Gov Weare field instead of Hampton Academy. Seabrook’s field is located behind the 99 Restaurant in Seabrook; 43 Gove Rd, Seabrook, NH, but it’s easier to access where we play via Fogg’s Lane (the other side of the park from the official address)
For next week only: we’ve arrange a friendly/practice scrimmage on Thurs against Exeter, so all U14 Girls should please plan on the following :
Wednesday - 5:45-7:15PM @ Winnacunnet HS
Thursday - 5:30-7:15PM @ Seabrook Governor Weare – practice scrimmage v Exeter (please no spectators…this is only practice, and we will already have multiple teams around the field)
Outdoor Covid Protocols – Covid protocols are always on our home page at Hamptonlax.org: come dressed and ready to play, place bags 6 ft apart, wear mask to/from the field and on sidelines, okay to remove mask during play tho we’ll still aim for social distancing in lines, etc., no sharing equipment/water bottles, balls touched only by sticks.
We do not yet have game schedules, will send ASAP when I receive, but FYI for what to expect:
First game will be Sun, April 11, and every Sun afterwards until Jun 13 (except no lax Mem Day Weekend)
For games, we will ask for parent volunteers to be timers, scorers and field marshals (field marshals are new for COVID to encourage 6-foot distancing and mask-wearing amongst spectators)
